The NBE continues its participation in the webinar series organized by the leading organization of the same field American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD). On June 30 2015 was held another webinar on ASCLD: FBI Allele Frequency Amendments Overview - Managers Perspective and Legal Considerations. 12 experts from different relevant departments participated in the webinar. It lasted 1 hour and presented by Tina Delgado- Biometrics Analysis Section, Laboratory Division, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Ray Wickenheiser - Crime Lab System Director for the New York State Police Crime Lab System, and Matt Redle- County and Prosecuting Attorney for Sheridan County.

The aim of this webinar was to assist Crime Lab Management to provide timely assessment, correction, notification, reporting and documentation; enabling Crime Labs to continue to earn and keep public trust  and  provide a high level overview of the issue by the FBI including history on the errors, their detection, correction, and the dissemination of information.
