From 9 to 20, 2015 in the National Bureau of Expertises was held a  training on ‘’Testimony in court’’ organized by the Bureau of  International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia (INL). The training was hosted by Richard Tanton - PBSI expert invited from USA.

It was attended by 21 participants from National Bureau of Expertises, the Criminal Forensics Department of the Republic of Armenia, Police Educational Complex of the Republic of Armenia, Expertise Center of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and Scientific and Practical Center of Forensic Medicine.

The main objective of the training was to train necessary public speaking skills in court. its technique and application in direct and cross-examination, skills to competently represent expert conclusions in  courts. During the training the participants exchanged views on professional themes. It consisted of two stages including lectures and numerous practical trainings which were recorded to be displayed then to the participants. It gave them opportunity to look at themselves and comment on their behavior.

At the end of the seminar training Jack Anderson – Head of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Embassy, and Artashes Javadyan - Director of National Bureau of Expertises, granted certificates to the participants who in their turn stressed the importance and necessity of such trainings that would enhance the level of performance of expert conclusions in courts suggesting to make them continuous.
