From February 23 to 26, 2015 the National Bureau of Expertises welcomed Donnell Christian – Senior consultant in Forensic Expertises of INL program and Domingo Villarreal - Accreditation Lead Assessor at ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board and Forensic Consultant. The aim of the visit was to conduct initial assessment in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 International Standard Requirements, study current documents, identify inconsistencies and get ready for conduction of ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 standard requirements of accreditation by international accreditation organization.

Due to the initial assessment the National Bureau of Expertises has developed a strategic plan aimed at preparing a complete package of documents within INL program support within a short period of time and apply and send an application to accreditation body member of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) for getting accreditation.
