Born in 1955.
Education: Yerevan State University, Faculty of Law.
Specialization: Lawyer.
Work experience as an expert: since 1982 (with intervals)
Main objective of Traceological Expertises Department is the realization of expertises and research to satisfy country interests, rights and freedom of citizens.
Besides expertises, the department also carries out scientific-methodological, research, technical, practical, experimental, analytical, educational and other activities.
Main activities of the department are as follows:

Subtypes of expertises:
06-01: Examination of traces left by human beings;
06-02: Examination of prints (traces) left by tools, objects or mechanisms;
06-03: Examination of tracks left by vehicles (transport-traceological identification);
06-04: Examination of stamp marks of metal, polymer and other product.
According to subtypes the department realizes the following expert activities:
- Detection, fixation and comparative examination of fingerprints, footprints and shoeprints; analysis of traces left by animals; blood drop analysis;
- Detection, fixation and comparative examination of toolmarks; analysis of smashing, cutting and piercing tools and traces left by them; traceological analysis of products for mass production; analysis of locks, protective devices, seals and security means; restoration of the whole by parts; traceological analysis of ties; detection and analysis of damages on clothes; sidearm examination;
- Traceological analysis of tracks left by vehicles; determination of mechanisms making tracks and damages on clothes during road accidents; detection and analysis of traces left on clothes during road accidents; determination of moving vehicles by broken parts found during road accidents; detection, fixation and comparative analysis of tire tracks of vehicles; traceological analysis of identification numbers of vehicles and their engines; restoration of deleted and restamped numbers.
